Covers change how the gutter is reached
Tell us that guards are present when requesting a quote. If you know the make or style, include it in your notes. Fine debris can collect beneath some covers, and debris on top can also affect drainage. The appropriate access method depends on the actual system.
Agree removal and refitting first
Not every guard system can be handled as standard cleaning. Any removal, refitting or access limitation is discussed before the quote is agreed. We do not assume covers can be lifted without affecting their fit or any manufacturer conditions.
Look at drainage as well as surface debris
A clean-looking cover does not establish that the channel and downspout are clear. Tell us where overflow appears. The agreed work includes checking flow in accessible parts of the system and documenting the result with photos.
Cleaning does not replace damaged guards
Broken covers, loose attachments or a damaged gutter need separate assessment. Guard sales, installation and repairs are outside this cleaning service. We explain visible concerns rather than add work without your approval.
