Gutter Cleaning Services homeowner guide
Prepare for a Gutter Cleaning Visit
Practical guidance for understanding your gutters and arranging the right work for your home.

Discuss the property first
Tell us about the number of stories, guards, visible overflow and anything that makes the roofline harder to reach. We confirm your full address, scope, safe access, price and visit timing before arranging work.
Make access arrangements
Discuss locked gates and pets before the visit. Let us know about vehicles, outdoor furniture and obstacles near the gutter line so we can agree what needs to be moved. You do not need to remove guards or climb onto the roof to prepare.
Confirm water and whether you need to be home
Tell us whether an outdoor tap is available. We agree the plan for checking flow and any access requirements in advance. Depending on those arrangements, you may not need to remain at home throughout the visit.
Leave room for weather changes
Lightning, heavy rain and unsafe roof or ladder conditions can require rescheduling. A quote request does not reserve a guaranteed appointment. The team contacts you to agree a suitable time when the visit can go ahead safely.
Know what you will receive
The agreed service clears accessible gutters and downspouts, checks flow, collects removed debris and shares before-and-after photos. Visible damage or other drainage concerns are explained. Cleaning does not include repairs, installation or underground drain clearing.
